As Editor-in-Chief of Ponder, Black Hills State University’s award-winning arts and culture magazine, I lead our editorial vision, magazine design, ad sales, social media, and overall brand. Since launching in 2023, Ponder has grown into a bold, nationally recognized publication, earning honors such as a National Gold ADDY, the College Media Association’s Best Magazine in the Nation, and a 2025 Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press - the first ever awarded to a magazine from South Dakota.
Under my Leadership, we’ve Built a Multi-National award winning student publication from the ground up.
